PROTOCOL FOR THE REDUCTION OF HYGIENIC-SANITARY RISKS IN TOURIST HOUSES PRODUCED BY COVID-19.
1. Check-in and Check-out processes.
The reception of the client will be autonomous or respecting the security distances. The keys or access cards must be delivered disinfected.
In the check-out process, it is recommended that the client leaves the keys or cards in the accommodation or in an office mailbox.
2. Cleaning of the accommodation.
2.1 Routine cleaning
Cleaning protocols will be reinforced with special attention to frequently manipulated elements such as handles, buttons, handrails, elevators, switches, etc.
Sofas, curtains and fabrics will be steam cleaned.
All kitchen objects will be cleaned at more than 60 degrees.
All unnecessary items will be removed.
Cleaning staff will be provided with information on the use of new disinfectant products, their proper use and the specific protocols to be followed in the accommodation.
They will have to use face masks; disposable gloves and they will use gel or disinfecting solution for hands.
The utensils used in cleaning and disinfection must be disinfected using products recommended by the regulations of the Ministry of Health and the Autonomous Communities Councils.
The whole property will be ventilated before and during cleaning.
2.2 Cleaning in case of confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The instructions established for cleaning the homes of affected people of Covid-19 of the Ministry of Health will be applied and a disinfection of the accommodation will be carried out.
The companies supplying disinfectant and sanitizing products must certify that said products are homologated and appear on the lists of the Ministry of Health as authorized and registered in Spain, and that its effectiveness against COVID-19 according to the UNE-EN 14476 standard has been demonstrated.
3. Maintenance of accommodation.
If any of the elements of the accommodation is damaged and the assistance of maintenance personnel is required, this maintenance personnel will access the property with the necessary personal protection measures when the clients are not in the house.
In the event that the absence of clients is urgent or impossible, the preventive measures of the maintenance personnel will be adopted to avoid the contagion, as specified at the beginning of this document, and the security distance from the client will always be kept.
4. Bed linen and towels for the accommodation.
Dirty bedding and towels will be collected in closed bags.
Cross-contamination of dirty laundry with clean items should be avoided in cleanings, with the use of different bags.
