The house is situated in the historic centre of Felanitx, an interesting cultural area between the town’s two main churches, Sant Miquel and San Agustin Convent.
Felanitx is a small town in the southern part of Majorca. A visit to its churches is highly recommended, as well as the Mossén Cosme Bauçà museum, the Sunday markets and the medieval streets around the town hall. There are also several wine producers in the locality.
The closest beaches to the house are Cala Marçal, Cala Sa Nau and S’Arenal de Portocolom, all these around 12 km from the house. The beach at Es Trenc, one of the most attractive and well known on the island is 20 km away.
The property is ideal for those who love cycling and hiking as there are several routes that leave from the surrounding area. Some that stand out are the climbs to the Sant Salvador Monastery and Santueri Castle.
In Portocolom, located just 12 km from Felanitx and one of the prettiest fishing villages on the island, you will find a large variety of restaurants and watersports, such as snorkelling, diving, sailing, jet ski and paddle surfing.
The house dates back to the 18th century and was completely refurbished in 2017. It is a 2-storey building, has 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. The property also has high speed Internet, satellite TV, air conditioning and heating in the upper floor bedrooms and a private pool.
We enter the house into a hallway where the original stone and an attractive central archway has been preserved. Next to the entrance we find a bedroom with twin beds and a lovely exposed stone wall. A wide passageway leads to the large and light living-dining area which has another of the original stone arches. Next to the dining area is a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen, with oven, glass ceramic hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kitchenware and utensils. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace.
On the first floor, accessed via a staircase located in the centre of the house, are two large double bedrooms, both with parquet flooring. The first of these has views of the street, an extra large double bed and air conditioning. The second bedroom also has an extra large bed, air conditioning, wardrobe and a lovely terrace with views of the garden. The two bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower.
To the rear of the house is the garden, which is accessed from the dining room/kitchen. There is a large covered terrace with a large table and a lovely private pool surrounded by artificial turf comprising a pleasant relaxation area where you can relax in hammocks next to the trees.
Behind the garden there is a garage with capacity for a large car and which exits to the side road.
