This lovely house dates back to the 19th century and has recently been refurbished. It is located between the towns of Felanitx and Manacor. Felanitx has all the services you could need during your holidays, such as supermarkets and other shops and businesses. There is a lovely historical centre with an interesting gothic church located at the top of attractive steps.
The house is located in a zone known as Aubocasser, a pretty rural area which is both residential and a cereal crop/vine cultivation area. The vineyards supply the locality’s main wineries, such as AN and 4 Kilos. The rural environment makes this a lovely area for walks and bike rides.
Manacor, the second largest town on the island is located 9 km from the house. It has a wide choice of supermarkets, shops, bars, restaurants and the recently-inaugurated Rafal Nadal Centre.
The closest beaches to the house are Cala Marçal in Portocolom, Cala Sa Nau, Cala Mondrago and Es Trenc. In less than 20 minutes you can be sunbathing on one of the lovely beaches in the south west of Majorca,
Other interesting places close by that are worth a visit are the Sant Salvador Monastery, Santueri Castle in Felanitx, the caves of Hams and Drach in Porto Cristo, the famous wineries of Felanitx and Porreres and the markets at Santanyi (Wednesdays and Saturdays) and Felanitx (Sundays).
If you’re a golf lover you’ll be interested to know that the Vall d’Or course is only 10 km from the house.
The property is a two-storey, stone built former farmhouse which has been totally refurbished. The house has 4 double bedrooms and 4 en suite bathrooms. The upper floor has air conditioning and there is an Internet connection and satellite television.
We enter the house via a veranda which has a pretty tree, providing welcome shade over a large table which can seat 8 people and is ideal for breakfast or lunch. Next to the table is a modern barbecue.
Behind the house is a pool which was originally built in days gone by to take advantage of an antique well providing water via a small aqueduct. From the pool area there are lovely views of the countryside and crop fields surrounding the house. Next to the pool we find a lawned area with hammocks and a sunshade and surrounded by trees.
On the ground floor there is an attractive living room with two sofas, a television and a staircase leading to the upper floor. On the right side of this floor there is a spacious dining room with an arched fireplace and a large table. Next to this is the kitchen which has a rustic touch but has been fully restored and comprises dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and all the kitchenware you will need. Next to the kitchen is the laundry and a large larder. On the left side is one of the double bedrooms, with en suite bathroom comprising shower. There is a toilet next to the living room.
On the second floor are the other three double bedrooms, two of these with twin beds and another with a double bed and all with parque flooring and en suite bathroom.
