This property is located in the area known as Son Valls, between the towns of Felanitx, Porreres and Villafranca. Son Valls is a part of Majorca where the island’s rural heritage is best preserved. The area is a rich cultivation zone for cereal crops, olives and vineyards, also making it a great place to enjoy the countryside with walks or cycle rides.
The town of Felanitx is 6 kilometres away. There you will find a range of supermarkets, a great choice of shops, bars, restaurants and a lovely historical centre, some highlights of which are the Santa Margalida fountain, Sant Miguel Church, Sant Agusti Convent and the Cosme Bouza Foundation. There is also a market in the town every Sunday.
You can reach the pretty beaches and coves in the area in just a little over 15 minutes by car. Some of these are Cala Sa Nau, Cala Marçal, Cala Murada, Cala Varquez and Playa Es Trenc.
Son Sole is more than 300 years old but it has all the comforts of a modern house. There are 4 double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and the house sleeps up to 8 people.
We enter the house through a small area of oak trees leading to a large patio which also contains the parking zone. The external area of the house is very large. In front of the parking there is a garden with shrubs and flowers. Walking through the garden takes us to the pool which is surrounded by a relaxation area with 8 hammocks and 4 sunshades. Next to this there is a covered terrace with a table which seats 8 people. Next to the table there is a pretty garden with plants and trees typical to Majorca and a bathroom with shower. There is a further attractive arched patio area more than 200 years old which has a table for 8 people, ideal for meals al fresco.
Entering the house we find a large living-dining room with pretty wooden beams and a combination of classic and modern furniture. On one side is the TV area and next to the kitchen is the dining area and staircase leading to the first floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooker, electric oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and all necessary kitchenware. Also on the ground floor are two double bedrooms, both with double bed and a bathroom with large bath.
The first floor has another living room which also acts as a corridor leading to the other two double bedrooms, which each have twin beds. There is also a bathroom with shower.
