Manacor, one of Majorca’s biggest cities, is 11 km from the house and there you will find all the amenities you might need while on holiday. There are a multitude of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and a hospital. Manacor is also home to the Rafa Nadal Centre. Golf lovers can enjoy their favourite sport at one of 4 golf courses within a 15 km radius of the house.
The closest beaches are those at S’Illot, Costa dels Pins and Cala Millor, although in just minutes you can also reach other attractive beaches in the area such as Cala Agulla and Cala Torta.
Finca Es Casal is a stone-built house which is more than 100 years old. The property was restored in 2008, updating it with all the conveniences of a modern house, yet preserving the house’s traditional character. It has satellite TV, WiFi connection and central heating.
The house is reached via an attractive road flanked by large pine trees leading to the entrance. Next to the house is a private pool surrounded by a pretty garden with lawn, palm trees and plants typical to the island. Next to the pool is a large terrace with dining table and coal barbecue.
We access the house via a pretty double door entrance, one wooden and one glass door, arriving into a hallway which has attractive classical Majorcan furniture. To the right there is a double room with twin beds. On the other side of the entrance hall is the fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. This leads to the spectacular dining room which has a circular domed roof and a large wooden dining table which can seat 18 people, an impressive place to host celebrations. The dining room has direct access to the garden. Crossing the hall along the corridor there is a complete bathroom containing bath and shower. At the end of the corridor there is a fantastic living room with comfortable sofas, a TV and a cosy corner with armchairs, ideal for those who like a quiet place to read. The living room also has direct access to the garden. The last room on this floor is the former kitchen, which has a large fireplace.
Upstairs there are 3 further double bedrooms, each of these with en suite bathroom and shower. The largest of these rooms has a pretty terrace with stupendous views. On the second floor there is also a spacious living room, ideal for use as a study as it has a large office-style desk.
