This house is located in an area known as “Es Clot des Pou”, very close to the small neighbourhood of S’Horta. It is a very quiet area, ideal for cycling or walking around the fields of crops which make up much of this rural area.
The closest beaches to the house are those of Cala Sa Nau and Cala Marçal, just five minutes by car and Cala Serena, Cala Ferrera, Cala Gran and Cala Mondrago, ten minutes away.
Just 5 km away from the house is the town of Portocolom, where you will find a wide choice of restaurants, water sports amenities such as paddle surfing, diving, snorkelling, kayaking, sailing, jet skis and boats for hire. Portocolom is also ideal for a walk along the shore and fishing harbour. Cala d’Or, one of the most well known tourist sites on the island, is 6 km from the house and it also has a good range of restaurants, shops and bars.
Other interesting places to visit in the surrounding area include the Sant Salvador Monastery, Santueri Castle and the markets in Felanitx and Santanyi. Golf afficionados will be interested in the Vall d’Or course located just 2 km from the house.
This attractive two-storey stone-built house is more than 100 years old and was fully refurbished in 2017. The house has 3 double bedrooms so the house can sleep up to 6 people. There are two complete bathrooms, air conditioning and heating on both floors, Internet connection and satellite TV.
On the ground floor there is a large area comprising the living-dining room, containing a TV and two comfortable sofas. The dining area has an elegant table which can seat 6 people. The kitchen is located next to the dining area and is fully equipped with gas cooker, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine and kitchenware/utensils. The kitchen leads to a second, more rustic style living area with a large table. Finally, on the ground floor, we find two double bedrooms which share a bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms has twin beds and the other has a double bed. Next to the dining table an attractive staircase leads to the upper floor, where the main suite is located, comprising a large room with an extra large double bed, a complete bathroom with shower and bath and a private terrace with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
To the front of the house the house’s traditional stone patio and antique well have been conserved. To the rear we find the garden with a large artificial lawn next to the private pool measuring 7m x 4m, 6 hammocks, 2 sunshades, a Weber brand portable barbecue and a pergola with table so that you can enjoy a meal by the pool under the shade.
There is also a private parking area with room for a number of vehicles.
