This beautiful renovated country house is located in the town of Vilafranca de Bonany, in the center-east of the island of Mallorca. The nearest town is the small town of Vilafranca, although for shopping and supermarkets you can find more offer in Felanitx, a town located about 11 km from the house, where you will find several supermarkets, all kind of shops, bars, restaurants, a beautiful historic center where you will find the fountain of Santa Margalida, the church of Sant Miquel and the convent of Sant Agustí, the Cosme Bauçà Foundation and the municipal market, in which a large market is held every Sunday.
The surroundings of Es Castellot Vell are very quiet and an excellent place to enjoy pleasant walks on foot or by bike and enjoy nature.
The closest beaches are those located in the east zone such as Portocolom, Cala Sa Nau or Cala Murada if accessed from Felanitx; or those of the Porto Cristo area if accessed from Manacor.
Es Castellot Vell is a property with more than 250 years of history that has been renovated with all the comforts of a modern house. The house offers 5 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom for a maximum capacity of 11 people and 3 bathrooms, of which 2 are en suite. The house has Wi-Fi internet connection and satellite TV.
We enter the property through a beautiful path flanked by two large stone walls leading to the front of the house with the classic facade of the country houses of Mallorca. We enter through the main door and find a large hall where the living room is located with its sofas and satellite TV on the left and a large double room with extra large bed and en suite bathroom with a huge bathtub on the right-hand side. From the hall, you can access the renovated large rustic style kitchen with pantry, fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and all necessary kitchen utensils. Furthermore, from the hall, you can access the dining room, equipped with a large wooden table, a bathroom with shower and a hallway where 3 double bedrooms and a single bedroom are located.
The upper floor is accessed through the stairs located at the entrance. You can find the fifth and large double room with extra-large bed and en suite bathroom with bathtub.
The pool area, which is accessed from the dining room, is very large and is fully equipped to enjoy a fantastic holiday. In this area, you will find a large private pool of 10m x 5m, umbrellas, sunbeds, a chill-out area with a comfortable sofa, a nice wooden table with benches to eat, gas barbecue and a large lawn area. And all this decorated with beautiful and relaxing panoramic views over the island's central area.
